Magdaléna, o.p.s. in WAMAG

We were glad that we could host Petra Čermáková and Šárka Slavíková Klímová from company Magdaléna, o.p.s here at WAMAG.

They were surprised how magnetic separation helps in real life. We explained to them how important magnetic separation is for example in food industry. The reason is the protection of consumers’ health. Everyone can agree that bread, chocolate or baby food without dangerous metal particles is a must.

We demonstrated to them how extremely strong neodymium magnetic filters can capture even tiny metal impurities. They could try out themselves how the invisible magnetic power works when capturing magnetic iron parts from beans using the pipe magnet (in the picture). Another topic was the use of our magnetic separators in separating ferrous and non-ferrous metals during waste recycling.

We showed them around our premises including departments such as engineering or shop floor where they could see the assembly of our machines. This way they had the opportunity to compare the size of various machines – from a filter weighing a couple of kilos to an electric magnetic separator weighing 5,5 tons.

We enjoyed the visit very much. We are looking forward to seeing each other again and to our further cooperation.
