We have extended the possibilities of use of permanent overbelt separators and we have certified them in accordance with the European directive ATEX 2014/34/EU. We are able to manufacture the separators also in ATEX version for the use in a potentially explosive atmosphere with dust - ATEX zone 21.

From 16. 3. 2020 a nationwide quarantine was declared in the Czech Republic to slow down the spread of COVID-19 desease. WAMAG keeps functioning as normal. Part of our employees work from home. Work flexibity is our great advantage, therefore we have adapted to new non-standard conditions very quickly.

By implementing a system of quality management in accordance with ISO 9001:2015, we have made yet another step towards improving the quality of our products and services. In June, we have successfully passed the certification audit and acquired the certificate.

At the end of May, our partner, magnet manufacturer Goudsmit Magnetics introduced a completely new corporate identity. This change takes place in the year that Goudsmit celebrates its 60th jubilee, which seemed the perfect occasion to adopt a streamlined, more contemporary look.

The Eddy Current separator (or the EC separator) has an irreplaceable function in recycling valuable materials such as copper, aluminium or brass. The LOCUST machine represents the newest addition to our range of Eddy Current separators with a number of design and technological improvements.
